In 2020 I founded Quindrie Press, an independent comics publisher. Our focus was to provide creators with the opportunity to publish passion project comics that hadn't found their home anywhere else. We had a particular interest in helping marginalised and upcoming creators to publish their work. Each month we donated a portion of our PDF sales to a different charity or organisation dedicated to supporting marginalised communities in Scotland.
I ran Quindrie Press myself with editorial assistance from Alex Assan and Hari Conner, and as of 2025 with prepress expertise from Jules Valera. We published work from creators such as Otava Heikkilä, Letty Wilson, and Ver, with multiple Quindrie comics being nominated for international awards.
One of my favourite books that we published was When I Was Me: Moments of Gender Euphoria, an award-winning collection of autobiographical comics about the joys of being transgender.
Quindrie Press will unfortunately close down at the end of 2026. Read the full statement on why here.
