Verbs always come at the end of a clause. Negatives are constructed by adding ma at the beginning of a clause.

Questions
Word order is retained even in questions and are only indicated by a rising tone.
- chan kosak, "you see a dog"
- chan kosak?, "do you see a dog?"
In casual conversation sa, "yes", and ma, "no", are often shortened to s' and m' and it is not considered rude to respond in this way.
