Development

Orange Plates was created in 2018 as my dissertation project for my Masters of Design in Comics and Graphic Novels. I wanted to do something completely different to comics I'd made in the past, namely that I wanted this comic to:

• be drawn traditionally
• be black and white or spot colour
• be wordless or have very limited dialogue
• have a more serious tone
